Falcao could join Chelsea : Mourinho Revealed in a TV show

The Monaco striker has been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge after his Manchester United loan spell expired.
And after reports claimed the move was close, Mourinho appeared on South American TV and was talking like Falcao is already a Blues player.
‘If I can help Falcao reach his level again, I will do it,’ he told the reporter.
The 29 year old Monaco striker spent a rather unsuccessful season long loan at Manchester United and it’s well known that Monaco can no longer afford his wages.
Jose Mourinho appears happy to take on the out of sorts Colombian superstar, with Falcao expected to join on a one year loan deal.
Falcao only scored four times in all competitions for United – an anomaly in a career which has seen him hit double figures in every season since 2006-07, when he was still emerging at River Plate.
Indeed, between 2009 and 2013 Falcao scored a remarkable 142 goals in four seasons for Porto and Atletico Madrid as he became one of the world’s most feared strikers.
Falcao even had 11 in 19 games for Monaco in 2013-14 before a serious knee injury wrecked his season, prevented him from taking part at the World Cup and set his career back some distance.
But Mourinho, who has a hole to fill in his squad after seeing Didier Drogba depart, clearly hopes to help Falcao recover the kind of form which saw him nominated for the Ballon d’Or in 2012 and 2013.
The striker is currently on Copa America duty with Colombia, having left United at the end of the Premier League season having scored just four goals during his season-long loan spell. Having returned to Monaco with doubts over whether he still has the quality that earmarked him out as one of the most lethal finishers in Europe before he suffered a serious knee injury.
But despite United not taking up the £43.2m option to sign Falcao permanently, Chelsea look set to swoop in a bid to replace Didier Drogba, and Mourinho appears to have confirmed the news by admitting he wants to show the true Falcao to the Premier League.
“If I can help Falcao reach his level again, I will do it,” Mourinho said on South American broadcasters DirecTV Sports on Wednesday. “It hurts me that people in England think that the real Falcao is the one we saw at Manchester United.”
