If reports are anything to go by then the Red Devils are closing in to sign Brazilian attacker Felipe Anderson from Lazio.
Metro cite reports in Italy claiming that Manchester United have launched a €39.7 million bid to sign the Samba star from the Serie A side. He is rated around €41m by the Italian club.
United clearly need to reinforce their attack after selling Angel Di Maria and Anderson will be a decent replacement. The 22-year-old playmaker directly contributed in 21 goals for Lazio last season and can play on either flank.
For now, Louis van Gaal has mostly started with Memphis Depay (left wing), Adnan Januzaj (behind the striker) and Juan Mata (Right Wing) in the attack.
If the former Santos FC star does join the Old Trafford club this summer, expect Juan Mata to play in the hole behind Wayne Rooney. The No. 10 role is arguably the perfect role for the Spaniard and Anderson should start on the right hand side of attack.
